Do you have an old, crusty, conviction sitting on your record? Chances are this conviction is doing nothing but ruin new opportunities for you while reducing your quality of life! If this is relatable, I would like to let you in on something that could change your life for the better. Indiana has what is called a “second chance law,” and if you have a conviction that is more than five years old, this may make it possible to have that conviction expunged.

Depending on the seriousness of your conviction, you may have to wait longer than 5 years to qualify. There are some convictions that require waiting eight years, ten years, or even longer. There are even some convictions that are not eligible for expungement at all. That being said, it is safe to say that if you have a conviction that is at least more than five years, reach out and make a phone call. Find out if your conviction is eligible for expungement. It certainly does not hurt to ask.

My name is Corey Scott. If I can be of further assistance, please reach out. I would be more than happy to help you look into this.
